CANCER AWARENESS

Cancer awareness is of great concern to me, being a cancer survivor since 2003. The more information we have, the better we can make decisions should we deal personally with cancer, or be supportive of a loved one with cancer.

That is why I have added this group of pages dealing with various forms of cancer and any information I can offer. Having only experienced uterine cancer myself, I would like to list some links where you can find further information to help you.

Early detection is the biggest plus in fighting cancer, and so being aware of the various symptoms and abnormalities could save someones life.

Starting health practices in your own life to prevent cancer would be the first line of defense. It would be far better to do all to insure you never get cancer in the first place, than to wait until you find symptoms, and then have to deal with treatment. Unfortunately most of us don't do that until we are already sick.
